Calamity in the sky?!

who says calamity gundam can't fly in the atmosphere? it even has a flight mode!

this is what happens when you are too lazy to build your kits and get me to build them for you. it gets sloppily slapped together and doesn't get assembled properly =D

Me noticing stuff coinciding again.

this time it's relevant to this blog because there is pewpewpew involved =D

there are unrelated ads that use the same good old music cause it's good
then are video game trailers that the use the same song out of the blue both for the sake of being obnoxious and are released exactly one week from each other. -_-

seriously, lolwut?
gearbox did it for teh lulz, but why you do this bamco?

Grrrr!!!! Why does life gotta be like dat??

was gonna finish my vf-27 this week
but then my computer went dumb after a graphics driver update, so i had to spend a few days trying to fix it. in the process of that, i discovered my system restore is a dud. it does nothing and doesnt work and loses restore points for no reason. so now that i got my graphics fixed, i need to fix my system restore...

when first got my graphics back to normal (which turned out to take nothing more than deleting the driver itself and letting it install and update again -_-), i was about to rejoice when i accidentally whacked the vf-27 and gave it a desk dive >_>
the microscopic points on the right cannards broke of, but i found them. on the other hand, the antenna at the top of the head snapped in half and one side flew somewhere which i can't find. so now i've got these near impossible repairs i need to do...all of which comes after i turn my room upside-down to find the missing piece, while dealing with a defunct system restore.

yay me! =D

the inverse of unicorn's javelin

here's how FA unicorn's hyper javelin/halberd thingy looks(pic stolen from gaijin gunpla)
Photobucket

and here's what is speculated to be the newest incarnation of the moonlight blade in armored core 5
the beams have the same streak effects, even though they are coming out of the opposite side. (i forgot where i stole these acv pics)
Photobucket

even the hinge on the javelin looks like the handle on this

i should stop noticing these really pointless things...

big bro has arrived

forgot to say in my last post

while i was gone, i went half way around the world to retrieve this guy
Photobucket

he's the boss of all gunpla in my collection.
this was my first gunpla. i got him when he first came out, and i didn't even know. i was just i wee little man when i built him.
fyi this is the original gundam mkII, this is not 2.0

im surprised he still stands, and i expected more missing parts. as it is now, the missing parts are not so obvious, but still, i wan't to have him fully complete and cleaned up eventually. i can do a putty recast for the missing bits, but the vulcan pod is completely missing and i don't know what to do about it. =(

anyone have an extra one lying around that they want to donate to me? =D

random pointless thing i discovered

i was randomly listening to yoppie's version of meltdown when i suddenly realized  one of the random jingles he added to the song sounded like the aquarion op, so i went on youtube to check

what i discovered was some really weird coincidence...or more likely an intentional easter egg
in both songs, the music fades out and the vocalist goes solo and sings the verse at exactly 3 minutes and 57 seconds into the song.
i say "into the song" instead of giving the time of the video because in the aquarion video the music starts at 0.9 seconds while meltdown starts right away. but in the aquarion video, the singing starts 0.9 seconds late at 3:57. so if you account for the time from the start of the video to when the music actually starts, the timing is dead on in a rather scary way.
what's more is that the aquarion song had to be the live version where there is an extended intro for this to work. the original cd version doesn't have this intro and so the song is shorter so the timing doesn't line up at all.

i guess that's enough of me ranting about nothing.
see for yourself

note: sure yoppei sings faster, but the point is the time that he starts singing it

p.s. i should win a prize for being so awsome and noticing something so pointless =D
